A. Movement Awareness is more important than sweating it out aimlessly on machines. With the information you send us in your Free Consultation form, we design your Personal Movement Course. We are also working hard to stay away from standardised mass production. Hence, Body Furniture too is hand made individually to match clients' shapes and sizes and their choice of fabrics and colours.
- Q. Doesn't that make you very expensive?
A. Be pleasantly surprised. We are a small, home run family business. Our aim is to share what we enjoy. I believe that running a business for growing profits is not the right way to go in today's troubled world.
Q. What is " movement vocabulary"?
A. Movement vocabulary is the number of moves mastered for physical expression. Good alignment, posture, flexibility, balance, coordination and timing all help to increase movement vocabulary. Having a rich movement vocabulary makes you a good mover.
Q. What is alignment?
A. Alignment is the placement of body parts in relation to each other and gravity. Alignment looks at the relationship between every bone in the body, like how many of your neck vertebrae can you count and right down to every phalanx in your toes.

- Q. What is unique about your teaching?
- A. My approach is completely different because my training is different. Choreology gives non-verbal observation and analytical skills. My approach to health and fitness is much more natural and functional
than most methods used today. My clients learn to distinguish between good movement and bad movement and that does not just mean how to lift a suitcase properly.
Q. What is "good movement''?
A. Good movement is graceful, economical, comfortable and relaxed. It can be strong and challenging to the body's capabilities. Bad movement is painful, uncomfortable, ugly, stiff, tight, clumsy and will eventually lead to accidents and make you prematurely old and sick.
Q. What is "Body Furniture"?
A. Body Furniture is mobile soft furniture that supports the body at rest or in action. It gives you a physically richer and more comfortable lifestyle, and it simplifies and improves your personal environment.
Q. What do you mean by 'personal environment'?
